Rectenwald Brothers is a retail construction company serving clients throughout North America and Canada. Founded in 1985, the company has completed more than 2,400 commercial projects for major national brands, including Nike, Ulta, H&M, Aéropostale, GAP, and many others.

Rectenwald came to Stewart Design because the company needed to reclaim and strengthen its position in the marketplace. After years of growth and industry experience, the brand had become outdated and needed clearer distinction from a spin-off company using the Rectenwald name. Leadership needed a stronger identity that could honor the company’s history, reflect its scale and credibility, and communicate the precision, strength, and trust required in national retail construction.

Stewart Design helped revitalize the Rectenwald brand with a bold new identity, clearer market positioning, strategic messaging, marketing collateral, trademark support, production, and ongoing brand management. The new trademark built on the company’s established brand equity through a strong red color system and bold letterform, while creating a more modern, iconic, and ownable mark for the future.

The transformation gave Rectenwald a more professional and recognizable presence, helping the company communicate its value with greater confidence and separate itself more clearly in the marketplace. After launching the new identity and strategic marketing, annual revenue grew from $21 million to $65 million in just 24 months, an increase of more than 200 percent.
